Do I need to ensure building regulation are in place?

The short answer – Yes. Building regulation approval is required for loft conversions to ensure safety. There are 4 parts within the building regulations that prove key to any loft conversion; part B, part K, part L & part P. Part B will approval all fire safety regulations within the converted loft. Part K ensures all areas within the loft keep persons inside safe from falling & collisions. Part L covers the insulation aspect of your loft and part P is the required certification for all electrics carried out, we only use part p registered electricians so all electrical work is certificated.

We have a team of experienced guys who carry out all the required building and renovation work inside. Most loft conversions are turned into extra bedrooms which include another bathroom or en suite, but In the past we have created many other rooms including studies, games rooms, offices – we’ve even installed kitchens.

What we can do:

We are able to install all required electrics and plumbing which includes heating to the rooms. We will then install all walls required within the loft to allow you to add certain rooms. We will then ensure all walls are plastered and decorated in your desired decoration, whether that be paint or wall paper. We will then add all the usual features like flooring, skirting boards, architrave, doors and roof windows.

At this point you will have your completed space ready to turn the rooms into their functions. We can then, if required, install anything you want in the rooms. If you want a bathroom or en suite then we can install this for you. Maybe you would like a bedroom – we can install built-in wardrobes and new furniture. Whatever it may be we can help you.
